The NC mountains where I live is ‘home’ to several hiker challenges such as the Pisgah 400(all 400 miles in the Pisgah Ranger District), 900 miler (900 miles of the Great Smokies), SB6K (40 peaks over 6000 ft) etc. Any other hiking areas perhaps where you may live that has these type of challenges?

in the adirondacks they have the ADK46 which is summiting all 46 peaks of 4,000+ ft.

I am not sure if a challenge is the right word but lots of people like to peak bag here in NH. There are 48 peaks over 4000’. After completeing all of these you can get a patch from the NHAMC. Then there is 52 with a view and New Englands 100 highest.
