I too hope to hike the PCT in 2009. I will be 49 next season and plan on warming up on the AT with an early March start at Springer hoping to make it to Pearisburg by the time the annual PCT Kick off begins. I also hope to hike from VT to NJ on the AT this September if my work schedule permits. An e-mail planing group sounds like fun…Please count me in.

This all sounds very cool. I am planning to hike in 2009 as well. I don’t know about “facebook” or the yahoo group. I guess I’ll see if I cna find them and take a look.
