Have any of you ever used/seen a hookah out on the trail? I am an avid hookah user, and have a mini hookah that would be perfect for the trail.
What are your thoughts on this, Feasability, Practicality?

Its feasible and practical to carry just about anything you’re willing to haul out on the trail. Why you would want to carry a Hookah on the trail is simply beyond my grasp however. It seems antitheical to the purpose of hiking, but maybe that’s me.
I sugggest you ask yourself why your thinking this question out loud on a public forum.

You’d be the life of the fire circle to those who indulged. Depends on how many hoses and how clean you keep them. Maybe set up a platy bag hookah conversion kit. That is if you don’t mind the taste of bong water. Hmmm… maybe nix that idea. That’s all my addled short-term memory can conjure.

I just realised that I need to clarify something. The hookah will not be for the use of pot. I will only be smoking flavored tobabcco out of it. It has a very quaint aroma, so it shouldn’t piss anyone off that Im using it.

Was someone under the illusion that you were gonna smoke pot in a hookah? I just wondered why you’d ask such a question. Like you need permission to carry a hookah.
I don’t mean to break your onions. Carry a hookah, a cocker spaniel, or a tuba if you like. Its your hike… so have a good one.

I liked to smoke alot of “flavored tobacco” on my thru hike and everyone seemed to have a smile on their face

I actually smoked more tobacco on the trail than any other time in my life. I don’t know why either. I just really enjoyed it and the people around me smoked a lot as well. People carry all sorts of things. I love the HYOH deal. It says, I like your style and if you don’t like mine, cry some more.
