My thoughts go out to all those in Hot Springs NC tonight and for the next few days it looks like. Just checked the weather reports and seems like roads 208,25&70 are all washing out and/or flooding. There are some warnings to hikers about possible mud slides in the mountains as well. I was just there a few days ago and had to call a shuttle to get me out at Garenflo Gap because the storms were just that bad. Even then the road to the Gap had already washed out and I was lucky that my shuttle diver was willing and able to put it in four wheel drive to get me out.
