I’m posting this for Sandals, who is back in CA trying to finish off the miles she skipped there due to injury and illness --as if skipping ahead to beat winter in Washington did her any good this year!!
She’s wondering if anyone who got snowed out in WA and couldn’t finish the trail would like to set a target date to meet at the monument at the Canadian border in late August, 2008. The goal would be for anyone who wants to finish the trail to pick up hiking where you got stopped by the snow this year, selecting a start date (based on how many miles you have left to cover) so that you’ll arrive at the border on the target date, for a big 2007 reunion party!!
Seems like a cool idea to me (I’m Sandal’s husband). What do some of the other thwarted 2007 PCTers think?
