I’ve gone from Manning to Seattle a couple of times now (end of my thru hike in '06 and doing the last section in '04). Reversing the standard trip back to the states should be easy enough.

When you get to Seattle, you can continue on Greyhound to Vancouver, BC. Or, take Amtrak from Seattle to Vancouver, which is a very nice option. From the combined bus / train station in downtown Vancouver, there are Greyhound buses that will take you to the lodge at Manning, via several intermediate town stops along the way. From the lodge, it’s a short road walk (under a mile) to the trail heading south.

Check the Greyhound / Amtrak schedules on line for detailed times.

…practice, practice, practice.

How do you get to Manning? Walk north, keep walking, walk some more.
