While hiking today, my hydration tube from the waterbladder started to freeze. It was only 29 degrees with a 25 degree windchill. In this cold weather, has anyone solved the problem of the hydration tubes freezing?

You can blow into the tube after drinking to push the water back into the bladder. An empty tube can’t freeze.

You can get insulated covers for most hydration bladders and tubes, this plus filling them with hot water has not failed me yet.
