If anyone is interested and lives in the Indiana/KY/IL/OH/TN area and needs a ride to Springer from the 23-29th of March… LET ME KNOW ASAP. I am very willing to do a little bit of trial magic and even start out with some thru-hikers for encouragement. I need to know if anyone is interested ASAP because otherwise I am going to run my marathon that week.

Windex, your offer is very kind and generous. I’m from the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area so I can’t join you. It would be nice to hear from some other kind hiker who is willing to drive to Springer and/or support a hiker or hikers as they start their thru-hike.

I am in Frederick , Md and as I may or may not have a ride to Springer I would be looking to hitch with anyone going my way or just near it. There would be tow of me, us, seeing as I’m hiking with a friend.
