How many of you plan to quit this year like me! Today was an especially bad day at work. I refuse to go postal, too messy. A long walk may be in order however.

It is a shame but people are making these jobs crap for us! It doesn’t have to be that way but it is and will it stay that way. On the trail you will meet and hike with great folks from all walks of life and the Pacific Crest Trail is heaven on earth! Hike on!!!

Hiking does have that Narnia quality. Minus the White Witch. Lots of swords and talking beaver, tho.

Asked for a leave, didn’t get it. Quiting anyway. After 27 years, a hiking sabatical is definitely in order!

quit in 2008 to sobo.A.T. got geardia hiked 725 miles went back to work. quit again in 2009 finished A.T.went back to work. going to quit work on 04/04/10 to hike p.c.t. on 04/20/10 happy trails
