I love chocolate

We heard that Hershey’s manufactures a chocolate bar that melts at a higher temperature. We called them and they would not talk to us about it. Made for military.
Candy bars typically melt at low 70’s temp… Does anyone know if a source for high melting point chocolate bars, in the USA? preferably dark chocolates and NOT M&M’s!

Have you ever tried sugar free with sugar substitute called malitol? I used to stock up on the real stuff when in Lancaster County, PA at chocolate factory called Wilbur’s. They had chocolate that had a higher than normal melting point. They are an old company and compete with Hershey’s. Anyhow, I switched to the sugar free and discovered that it has an even higher melting point. Plus you can get it just about anywhere.

Have you tried chocolate baking bars. Semi-sweet and german would be good to eat by themselves. I think the chocolate bits would melt too readily. The bars have a higher melting point, but I don’t know how high it is.
