Ideas for a 30-35 mile trip in Nov?

I’m looking for advice for a good 3 day trip over Thanksgiving along the AT. I am primarily looking for something that I can turn into a loop hike.

I like the Smokies, but have never been there in late November. I’ve heard the winter is relatively mild…

I was looking at the Mt. Rogers area in VA, but heard real winter sets in earlier up there.

Does anyone have suggestions for me?
Thanks!

Have you looked at getting on trail before Dragons Tooth near RT 311 in Catawba area of VA? It is near Roanoke and you could go from before the tooth and hit Macafees Knob and Tinker Cliffs as well. You could possibly even eat at the Homeplace. You would get to see 3 popular spots and the Homeplace. I81/419 to 311/311 to 621/AT crosses 621/start there and hike nobo. You will end on 220 in Daleville. Hope this helps.

tough to beat the smokies for that length and time of year, deer season is on but no hunting in the Nat. park, lots of good loops so no shuttling, off season so the horses and most other visitors will be gone. I like the cattaloche area, tough access but few other visitors and you may see the elk
