I have something like that…One piece of luxury, a .1 oz bug netting head net…beats having Michigan deer flies (think horse flies on steroids) dive bombing and biting in the face/neck…
After hiking Lake Superior south shore, I am convinced that they were a secret Navy WW2 animal weapon accidentally let loose…their dive bombing and buzzing is second to none

I remember tenting in Conn and the tics on one side and skeeters on the other both trying to eat us. Got stung on the big toe. Still better than on the bare ground.

It seemed to me that whenever I camped a little, shall we say, illegally, the bugs were especially bad. This was in NJ and NY. I did learn that blackflies and mosquitoes have worked out a 24-hour schedule where they take turns getting you.
You can buy no-seeum netting (smaller holes than mosquito netting) from Campmor.com It’s 72" wide - light weave no-seeum (grey) item number 61001 @ $5 per yard. Good stuff. In fact, I make stuff bags out of it in addition to fashioning various anti-bug items. Easy to sew on and very light.

Try your local Army Surplus Store if you have one. Also try fabric stores such as Piece Goods. Also visit the Gun and knife shows if they visit your town. Its mainly an Army Surplus show anyway but they were selling mosquito netting by the square yd. the when I was there when they came to town about two months ago. Also REI which is a hiking supply dealer sells netting in the local stores here. they also have an online store. Im not sure if they sell it online or not but you could take a look.
Good luck and good hiking.
