Dear fellow hikers:
The Piute Indians were the Native American group that populated most of the central and eastern sierra until late nineteenth century. Is there any modern descendants of those original Indians? If so, do they live in reservations and which one? I have found some information bout the history of this group online, but so far I only got historical data from XIX Century, but very little information of their modern whereabouts. Thank you for any info. or link that you can provide.
