Anyone have any reviews/comments on the Inov8 trail runners? Im thinking about buying a pair.

Used em on my PCT thru-hike this year and was crazy about em. They always held up way better than everyone elses (when I switched em out at Kennedy Meadows with appoximately 800 miles on them, they could have gone longer), and the tread is awesome. I almost made the mistake of using a different kind of shoe for Washington (I got a pair of Vasque Velocitys real cheap), but after walking in the Vasque’s for 3 days, I quickly called up and ordered another pair of the Roclites. I should also mention that I didn’t get a single blister the entire trail…though to be fair I really think that it just so happened that my feet worked awesomely with them. Other people could have worn them and had a couple. Either way, they’re an awesome shoe.

I used a pair of the Inov8 Roclites this summer on my Long Trail end-to-end hike. I really can’t say enough about these shoes. My feet are really prone to getting blisters, and although I did have one or two in the first week or so, after that it was smooth sailing. This was a big change from previous hikes I have been on where I’ve had blisters all over my feet, and even under my toenails. The only unfortunate thing about the shoe is the fact that if it is raining, or if you step in a puddle/mud - your shoes/feet are more than likely going to get soaked. On the plus side, everytime my shoes/feet did get soaked, they were dry pretty much by the next morning, so it all works out. I’m planning on wearing these shoes on all my future long distance hikes.

When I look for Inov8 online I see lots of different models under that brand. Which did you use and why?
Thanks.

As if Rocham’s endorsement wasn’t convincing enough, Scott Williamson wears these shoes. Seriously, Scott Williamson. That’s all you need to know.
