Isolated Areas?

I’m in the same boat as another recent poster - I’m trying to find scenic but much less traveled areas in New England. Other than Maine, are there any? New York, maybe?

Thanks in advance!

Cohos Trail.
I provided some maps for its build. My friend Gadget has a journal here.

Boy who wannders said it pretty good. The upper half of the long trail is certainly “a road less traveled”. It certainly wont be crowded ! Just go prepared the farther north you get. I dont know your experience level so check on conditions, and their are plenty of places to get info on that trail…Happy trails & have a safe time…

Another more isolated trail is the Northville-Placid trail in the western Adirondacks in New York. It is about 120 miles long and goes through some pretty remote areas. I did the 1st half last fall (using up my remaining vacation days) and am planning on trying to finish it this year. Maybe July or Sept. ??? I really liked the section I did. There was almost no one else out there.
