Katadyn cartridge fit Pur hiker

Hi folks, getting ready for my 4th section hike, (hopefully doing all of PA.). I’ve not found anything definitve on whether the katadyn cartdrige will fit my Pur hiker. Does anyone know or should I buy a whole new unit?

yes, it fits…according to Katadyn and Pur.

yes, it is basicallly the same filter, the name just changed when the company ownership changed. Everything else about the filter system is identical too.
