I’ve been following them all along. I never thought I would be interested in the ADT - but after reading their journal, I’m not so sure. Even though it is much more civilized than I prefer, with a lot of road walking and a lot of walking town to town to town - still there is beauty and good people and good hiking. It has been fun to follow along.

You’re right, it is a ton of road walking. The parts we hiked with them, here in Ohio and Indiana, hook up park land, forest lands and scenic back roads. Lots to see and people to meet. Other sections have been pavement pounding. They trail does try and stay on at least dirt tracks but well, Cincinnati is a city. Still, we were treated well even being filthy. Some sections we’ve come to agree on were routed poorly and missed some cool sites.
Its sort of like hiking in NY on the AT.
