Kenosha Passable ? No Gaiters?

Does anyone know if the Kenosha pass segment is passable as of yet? Any word on 10 mile?

Let me clarify. Is it passable for people who have no experience with snow or equipment to handle snow. I know there are lots of people who don’t balk at walking thru knee high snow but I’d be terrified of falling through the snow into a gully that was concealed by snow or starting an avalanche. I’m much more familiar with semi-desert hiking.

Very easily passable. I camped on top Friday nice weather. U r good to go. A number of CDTers have passed through the ten mile range and said they had just a few problems which should clear up in a few days.

Thanks! You have to remember that the entire town of Arlington, Texas, closed down just before the Superbowl because we got three inches of snow  …wild fires, much more familiar with those.

Made it over the ten mile range. A little snow but nothing tough. Anyone can do it if me and my wife made it. Next up copper mountain.

Please keep us updated! We are just a few days behind you and are worried about all the closures due to fires…

WOOT!!! Hope the smoke has cleared enough to finish section 1 & 2. It would be a pain to finish the trail and then have to drive all the way back to the start to do the first two sections.
