I am going to be in the Killington area this weekend and am looking for a good day hike. Last year I hiked to the top of Mt. Abraham from Lincoln Gap and am looking for a similar trail. Does anyone know of any day hikes in the area?

You can hike the Bucklin Trail which connects with the Long Trail just west of Cooper Lodge and from there you can hike to the summit. It’s 3.3 miles to the LT one-way. The trailhead is on Wheelerville Road heading south from Route 4 (east of Rutland). You can also hike the Sherburne Pass Trail to Pico Camp and Pico Peak - the trail starts at the parking lot directly across from the Inn at Long Trail on Route 4. Have a great hike!
