Has anyone ever ween someone post a hostel that they were selling? Or know of one that may come up for sale in a couple years?
I was thinking about this the other day and wondering how those change hands usually.

FYI,… not that there is anything wrong with that.
The categories of disadvantage,… they target may include physical and mental disability, drug and alcohol addiction, developmental disorders and problems with the law. They do not include other factors of disadvantage such as race, sexual orientation or abuse.

I have no idea what the post meant... I even read through the whole wiki you posted and I still don't know where you cut it from...
AT CO-OP… it was just a joke anyway, dear. Who wants to live with a bunch of stinky hiker types all the time anyway??

Miss Janet, sorry I was not clear last time. I meant there is nothing wrong with trying to run a co-op, but it could come with some problems.
I re-found it, for your information, it was under the heading of…
Social cooperative
Main article: Social cooperative
A particularly successful form of multi-stakeholder cooperative is the Italian “social cooperative”, of which some 7,000 exist. “Type A” social cooperatives bring together providers and beneficiaries of a social service as members. “Type B” social cooperatives bring together permanent workers and previously unemployed people who wish to integrate into the labour market.
Social cooperatives are legally defined as follows:
the objective is the general benefit of the community and the social integration of citizens
type A cooperatives provide health, social or educational services
those of type B integrate disadvantaged people into the labour market. The categories of disadvantage they target may include physical and mental disability, drug and alcohol addiction, developmental disorders and problems with the law. They do not include other factors of disadvantage such as race, sexual orientation or abuse
various categories of stakeholder may become members, including paid employees, beneficiaries, volunteers (up to 50% of members), financial investors and public institutions. In type B co-operatives at least 30% of the members must be from the disadvantaged target groups
the cooperative has legal personality and limited liability
voting is one person one vote
no more than 80% of profits may be distributed, interest is limited to the bond rate and dissolution is altruistic (assets may not be distributed)
I make the stinky one’s sleep down on the concrete garage floor, so I can hose it down with bleach when they leave.
No Hard Feelings. hehe

I was thinking about trying to meet up with you this year as you go through Pa., I live at Smith Gap and can offer showers, and use of our garage for your group.
I was going to come out to Little Gap, to meet you when you get there. What do you think?
Good luck selling that property, looks sweet, how are the neighbors?
