Good news. The trail is now open all the way to Spring Creek Pass. I just sent thru hiker Jasper on the 103 mile detour, too. My camp is very close to the turn off. Now he can tell everybody he hiked Pinos Pass.

Just reviewing the latest map regarding the closures and it appears (I have no official confirmation) that the CT should now be open. The CT is a boundary trail in the closed area and boundary trails should be open per the map. I am not in the area right now so I cannot confirm. SJ Ron
