Looks like I will be in Lake City on the weekend. Does anyone know of a private enterprise, open all day on Saturday and Sunday, that would hold a resupply package for me there? I don’t mind paying a small fee

I met some great people in Lake City. Leki sent (UPS) me replacement poles to the Post Office (oops)… the nice people at the post office brought the package over to the visitor center where I was able to pick them up.
The visitor center is right accross from the post office. I don’t know their hours, but I would imagine that they are open on the weekend. I bet if you called them they might let you send a package there.
If you do end up doing that, post a message here so we know for the future.

I called the Lake City Campground http://www.lakecityco.com/lakecityServices.html#Showers since I was planning on stopping in for a shower and a possible overnight.
They were very nice, and agreed to hold a package for me. Susie Broome was very nice on the phone, but seemed a little mystified as to why I would want to mail myself something…
