Just check out the main camping store webpages. REI, Campmor, Backcountry, etc. They’ll tell you in the shoe descriptions if they have any leather in them. Once you find the shoe, you can do an internet search for that boot and find where else it’s sold.

ok, I don’t mean to be contrary here, but why leather free boots?

I understand making a choice not to consume meat. ok. thats a dietary choice.

But they’ve already slain the animal. The boot shop bought and treated the leather and made the boot and shipped it to the store long before you ever decided to buy the boot.

Isn’t it enviromentallly responsible for us to use all the parts of animals we can, even if you choose not to eat the animal? Besides, most other materials that boots are made of would be some sort of petroleum byproduct, right?

Again, I dont want to cause any sort of arguement, but this post just really struck my curiosity, and I had some questions i guess i couldnt figure out the answers to. thanks for answering them.

And an ethical choice and an environmental choice.

Maybe Meadown Ed just feels that having animal carcus on his feet is just gross?
