I heard a search and rescue unit was called out for him in the Mojave during a few heavy snowstorms this week.

Anyone know anything?

He should have become a little more Leave No Trace savy, got a weather report, focused on the hike and not filming and stopped smoking that **** everyday! Then others time, money and safety would not be placed in danger

Nope.

Didnt happen,
I hiked out off Libre and down to Lancaster from Lake Hughes. Then hiked the Old PCT South to Acton on the Sierra Highway because of the snowstorm going on up high.

They ALMOST called because of the weather they thought I was still up in.

Important lesson again, cuz people out there do care, If you are going a different route…

TELL THEM

, epescially if they expect you in two days…I thought they would know I went a different route, I was wrong, and I learned.

How rude of you to assume that someone was smoking any thing. So what if he was filming. And were you there when he planned? It’s drunks like you that judge others. I hate that. Wouldn’t you feel more comfortable with posting on southernbaptist dot com or something? If you notice, his post reads: ALMOST. Maybe you should ALMOST take the quickest exit to a tap…or privy.
