Hi

I’m a guy from Denmark thru-hiking the CT in september. Anybody knows of a good (and cheap) place to stay in Denver and about possible rides to Waterton Canyon?

As a Euro, you should know this one ! I found 3 options as low as $20 a night… they are pretty booked up right now being vacation season, but unlike Scandinavia, our few hostels don’t close up in late August ! I caught a bus from one of the ski resorts down to Denver… I don’t remember where is Waterton, but there are also hostels in some of the ski resorts that are cheap outside of winter, if they are open in Sept. How is that freedom town Kristiania in Kobenhavn: still being harrassed by the cops & aristocrats who want to turn it into expensive apartments no doubt?

You’d be welcome to pitch your tent in our backyard in Lafayette (30 minutes from the airport)- we could probably pick you up, and could give you a ride to Waterton. Let me know if you’re interested.
