I have spent my whole life in Bend Oregon. Originally a logging town now turned tourist trap. I do love the woods and I think they are better regulated by the loggers then by the gov’t (Loggers don’t want the woods clear cut and gone, who beter to regulate then the people that have used it for thier liveliehood).
The people that want to clear cut the forests are the money grubbing people who don’t need more money. Look at how the price of wood has gone up. It just pisses me off that most americans that have no clue blame this on the loggers and not the true source the gov’!!!
Loggers want to thin and replant leaveing old growth. The gov’t regulaions make it to where you have to clear cut. That is the reason for the stickers Wookie has been seeing. Its a way of making people see and take a look what is really going on.
