is there anywhere to park a car near the pine cobble trail head other than the trail head, im looking for a safe place to park for a week or so while i hike.

I parked at the Williams Inn last summer. Folks at desk were very helpful, price was reasonable, and it’s a pretty walk through part of town to the trailhead. If you want it, there’s also a city bus that cuts the walk about in half.

i actually talked w/ them yesterday on the phone, the price is pretty cheep,
do you know how far of a walk it is to the trail head from the Inn, and is it easy to find from there.
I asked the girl on the phone but she wasnt real sure.

about 2 miles, first 3/4 mile on bus if you want. Go out front door of inn and go left (east). Directions in LTG and End-to-Ender’s, and roads clear on MapQuest. As you go up Pine Cobbler Rd. look for trailhead at edge of woods on right.
