I run a shuttle service in Vt and on August 22nd I dropped a hiker off at the Trail Head in Hartford,VT Rt14 at the White River going south around 2:00 -3:00 pm. he told me he was going to the Thistle Hill shelter for the night. I received a call today Oct. 1st 2010 from the forest service who is looking for him. He has a very bad case of ass-burgers syndrome and has not been heard from since he used my phone to call his mother on the 22nd. He was headed towards Killington Rt 4 Vt. and told me he was planning to go to the Mass. border.
He is about 5’5" and is a little round man with dark hair and I think he wore glasses. He looked like he could be in his mid to late fifties and was wearing long pants that could be zipped off for shorts.
