Anyone know what the parking situation is near where the Long Trail crosses Rt. 15? The nearest town is Johnson. Is it possible/advisable to park in town?

Thanks - as it turns out, I’ll probably leave the car at Smugglers Notch State Park.

There is a new trailhead at Rt 15 with a parking lot right on the road. We left a car there for a week last year with no problem. Long Trail tavern will also accommodate you, but its now a mile or so from the new trailhead.
