there is limited resupply at both abol bridge and white house landing, but enough to get you through with no issues unless you have some sort of special diet.white house is about a .75 blue blaze off the trail, you blow an air horn and they come get you. it sometimes takes a while, but there are strict instructions to only blow the horn once. they'll here you.resupply is more expensive hre than dollar general, you pay top dollar for the convenience.

for help on shuttles you can try shaws in monson, or phil pepin.

The Appalachian Lodge in Millinocket is doing a food drop for me about half way through the 100 mile wilderness. Their rates seem reasonable. You might want to give them a shout.

We used the AT lodge food drop - they have three options and it kept us from having to carry 8 days of food - they can be reached at http://www.appalachiantraillodge.com/

A friend and I are going to be hiking on the AT in mid-August from Rutland to Hanover and from Hanover to Franconia Notch. Does anyone know of the possibility of shuttles, first, from Hanover back to Rutland and then from Franconia Notch back to Hanover. Thanks for any assistance in this regards!
