The jet stream is dropping and bringing more moisture from the south…but hopefully warm air as well.

Please use your own trail name

It’s not uncommon for more than one person to have the same trailname. Besides, from the looks of it, your trail name is Doc Holiday Inn. And his is Doc Holiday.

Cut out the nonsense guys I am the Doc I thru-hiked the AT in 1989 when the thru hiking was real not like the clown hike people do today.

So what? It’s still the determination to put one foot in front of the other over a long period of time, over a long distance. And to put up with elitist thruhiker BS.

Oops. I apologize for making assumptions. I have seen other forum members have posts made in their name in the past and believed that was what happened here. As far as the hike difficulty, come on, is this the “when I was young, we had to walk 20 miles to school, uphill, through 6’ of snow, in May” equivalent for the AT?

It’s difficult to predict a storm nearly a week in advance.
What is your source for the prediction? hope it’s not the Farmers Almanac, they are wrong more than they are right.
I would go with the hike.Even if its a storm I would guess it would be rain down south.Good luck.

I would also like to comment on the atrocious spelling of john. How ironic that you should misspell the word idiot…
