Anyone starting NOBO on May 5th or abouts then? Im getting a late start, but am only going up to Harper’s Ferry. Just seein if anyone else will be at the airport around then to split a cab or shuttle. Cheers!

Plan to be starting up the approach trail on the 3rd. Only going as far as Fontana on this trip. No help for splitting a shuttle tho, my car will be at Fontana.
Probably see you on the trail tho. I’m catching a ride with another section hiker who is also starting on the 3rd. Guess there will be a few of us out there.

I will start my hike on may 4 with the approach trail. I just hiking the georgia section. Hope to see some of you guys out there.

Aphex, you might like to try the folks at the hiker hostel (www.hikerhostel.com). They will pick you up at North Springs (you take a MARTHA train from the airport to the North Springs stop), put you up for the night, cook breakfeast and deliver you to the trail for around 60 dollars. They also accept mail drops to help you avoid luggage problems en route. Real nice folks. Happy trails :boy
