A month ago I was in the market for just this–a large supply of mayo packets (and a supply of pickle relish packets). Finally yogied them from one of the waysides in SNP. Checked out the warehouse stores (Costco, Sam’s Club) and you have to buy 1,000 in a case or more. A hundred or so would have been about perfect.

In case anyone wonders why someone would be hording mayo/pickle relish packets I can only give my reason: Added to those 3-oz. pkgs. of chicken and tuna they make a fantastic trail lunch–on pita bread or crackers. I carry a bunch of spices with me so I can also change the flavor each day . . . lemon pepper, barbq, terragon, basil, garlic.
