Lay off Faithwalker. She is a decent person. MS is a different story. He is a walking sideshow. Who cares where his journal went. Hopefully he has disappeared off of the AT like his journal disappeared off of this site. The trail needs a hiker to constantly criticize trail maintainers, like a fish needs a bicycle.

Who said anything about FW? I’m sure she’s an interesting and decent person. She did spend two years with MS. Most people are smashing their face on a rock within the first hour of meeting him. Since the journal is now gone you guys have no idea how much entertainment you’ll be missing.

We met MS on the AT on 4/2/09 near the summit of Clingman’s Dome. He entertained us with tales of the trail and pointed us in the right direction after we’d missed a turn.
