Moral Reminder - Appalachian Trail

I just want to remind everyone who reads Trail Journals and/or Trail Forums that they have a moral oblibation to make an annual donation here. The guys that run this are too nice to harp at you so I will. It takes money and a lot of their time to keep this going. Whether it helps you prepare for your hike, document it, share it with friends and family, or just entertainment you are benefiting from it. Last I heard they weren’t even benefiting personally. Here’s what I do…not only send them a check but slip in a twenty or fifty dollar bill and tell them to have a beer on you.

Skeemer is right on!

It is so easy to forget that great sites like this take a lot of time, energy, and commitment. I’ve contributed, but undoubtedly I should and will contribute more.

This is a nice site, that provides a lot of good communication and information for a lot of people. Come on folks…“show some love.” :happy

Everyone should at least order a T-shirt.
I wear mine on every hike so the trail pictures sorta advertise my favorite website.
Lief and Zipdrive have a great site!
Good hiking

Go the Trail Journals home page and in the upper right hand corner of the page is a link that says Support Us. There are a number of ways to support the site.

When you’re in the wilderness you have to be extra careful to observe God’s moral guidelines. Try to avoid exposing yourself to members of the opposite sex while changing wet clothes, lest you fan the fires of temptation. Remember, the Devil is always watching for an opportunity.
