I’ve been told that there was once a trail from the AT to the summit of Mount Mingus, but that the Park abandoned it and let it grow over. Have any of you bushwhacked to the summit? I’ve heard that there’s a manway to the top, but I don’t know. Topo maps appear to show a fairly easy bushwhack, as it’s almost all rdige walking. But of course topo maps can be misleading.
