For anyone who owns the MSR Blacklit Pot…I have a quick question:
How do you get the lid to lock/seal onto the pot? Yes I am an idiot b/c I can’t figure this out.
Please help.

Keep it in its bag. Or maybe a rubber band? I carried that pot for 2 months on my '04 AT hike and noticed that the teflon rubs off very easily! I think I was eating some of the flakes which might explain my crazy behaviors today! Don’t ever touch metal to the interior of the pot or the teflon will scratch.

I have no idea about the details of your particular pot, but I just wanted to mention something that may have absolutely zero interest for you… If you don’t have a pot cozy already you might want to consider getting/making one. This is basically an insulated wrapper for your pot that goes on the outside. If you bring water to a boil, you can turn your stove off, put your noodles or whatever in, and ‘simmer’ it inside the pot cozy until it’s cooked. It saves a ton of fuel especially in the winter months. We made our own but you can also buy them. (And you just keep it all together with a rubberband.) Here are some links:
Happy hiking!

Butterfingers,
The lid is made to seal onto the pot. Were you able to figure it out?
Can anyone help?
