why do some AT hikers repeatedly hike the AT instead of hiking another trail? new trails are sprouting all over the US, all over the world. this may be one of those questions that if you have to ask you’ll never get it. if the answer is because it’s the best trail there is, i won’t believe it because repeat offenders haven’t tried other trails with different terrain and weather for a basis for comparison. its a mystery to me
