									Need cleaning tips for really dirty tent

this tent suffered through a flood from a backed up sewer. Any tips for cleaning? Will a gentle detergent do the job of cleaning and decontaminating? Is there anything to avoid.

									I'd throw the tent away if it was me.

If you insist I’d blast it a car wash until the water comes off clear and then I’d put it in a bathtub/trashcan/etc with a water and bleach solution.

And then I’d still throw it away.

Yes. If you are able to get a female in the tent do not tell her that the tent was covered in raw sewage but that its all good now.

									I just had a tent repaired by Big Agnes and they recommended washing my tent with Tech Wash delecate cycle and then set it up to air drive.

Call your tent manufacturer and see what they recommend.

									Simply soak in MiraZyme for 24 hours. Good as new.
