Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, reliable wireless charger to keep their IPhone charged while out hiking.

I use a Cinch power pack. It will charge your I phone 4 to 5 complete charges. It will work on many other electronics also. I found mine on eBay.

Thanks for the feedback. Borh sound like what I need. The Cinch power may be more what I need for my phone and my grandsons music.

You might have trouble keeping the iphone topped off with smaller panels. Ive tried quiet a few, and the goal0 nomad 7 panel is really the only one up to the job. it will charge an iphone directly or you can use their AA battery charger as a reserve source.

Look for them on amazon. cheaper

I just did 521 miles in New Mexico with a Nomad 3.5 on my pack. I found it sufficient to charge batteries for GPS, Steripen, headlamp and to keep my Iphone topped off. I mainly used the I phone for writing journal entries. Sometimes I had to prioritize what got charged which day and I phone was at bottom of list but I never ran out of I phone.

These are great products for me as well. the 3.5 does cellphones and other "5v" type devices. The Nomad 10 does cameras and the battery pack is useful even when the sun is not shining.

Anyone try wearing the panels on their packs while hiking yet, or use their device while it is plugged into the panels?

I attached the Nomad 3.5 on top of my pack with shock cord and clips and just had it there all day every day it was not raining/snowing. I charged the cell phone at night from the battery pack, watching the light on the battery pack and taking off when the light was beginning to turn red. I tried to charge way before cell phone really low as GPS batteries had priority on the CDT. I could use cell phone to write journal entries while it was charging.

I got the Goal 0 Nomad 7 system but I haven't had the chance to "field test" it yet. One thing I REALLY like about the company is that they had a problem with the charger overheating and replaced it free of charge. My original charger did overheat some ... but not to the point of failure or being unsafe ... so their policy of "zero defects" (that's what the "0" is about) left me with two working chargers.
