The Colorado Trail Foundation is now taking orders for the new CT guidebook. First ones should be shipped out around mid May.

Cool. I ordered mine today. They told me would go with the next batch they are going to ship out next Wednesday, can’t wait. How does the new guidebook look Bearpaw?

The new guidebook is very readable and attractive with a great number of pictures. The information seems very good and the maps are probably sufficient that you won’t need to get a lot of others to supplement. (I’m printing full 1:24,000 scales for the northern sections since I’ll be navigating across snow pack in some areas - I’m starting the second week of June. The downside is it is very heavy. I’ll be slicing mine into appropriate sections and mailing them in with my regular maildrops.
