I'm planning to section hike NY-NJ this spring/summer. Does anyone know a good website for info? Anyone have trail hints or info that they could give me? Basically any help would be great. Thanks

Contact the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) and get their map and guie for the area. It most likely has everything you need to know.

(but then.....which ISN'T my favorite section?!!!....i even liked PA! :>) .......there's some fun bouldering in NY.....nothing difficult....just cool....and NJ is surprisingly BEAUTIFUL ....(i guess we had imagined smog and turnpikes and such!)

The NY NJ Trail Conference has excellent maps that cover most of the AT in NJ and some of it in NY. Check out their website at www.nynjtc.org

Thanks for all the help. I'll be sure to check out that site. It's funny maw-ee because I imagined smog and turnpikes too. Thanks again.
