It’s been a while since I have researched gear. Recently I checked out Ospreys web page and found a whole new line of packs (completely new design). What happened to their old line of packs?

They recently did extensive changes on their product line. For what it’s worth, I field tested one of their new packs this past year for backpacker magazine and liked it so much I ended up using it for the entire trip. (5 of my 6 hikes have been with Ospreys). Anyway, I’m a tremendous fan of their stuff, and am very happy with the company—excellent, very friendly customer service folks, I might add, and also, their women’s packs are also great.
