Hey Matt…I would definately consider driving to Roanoke/Daleville VA. You could do MCAfee Knob and Tinker Cliffs. It’s about 20 miles and has a shelter to spend the night in along the way. I live here in Roanoke so we could arrange to help you out with leaving your car at the “end”. We could drop you off at the “start”. You can determine which way you want to hike…North or South. If you hike South you end up on Rt. 311. The famous Homeplace restaurant is just a little over a mile away, that could be a nice ending to your overnight. Let me know if your interested.

Nice offer…sounds like the beginning of a horror movie.
