Overnight lows in late Sept?

Does anyone have any idea what type of overnight low temps I can expect in late Sept. on the Colorado Trail? I have a good 20 degree bag that is true to its rating, but am wondering if I should bring my 0 degree WM Kodiak especially for the San Juans in late Sept.

Lows can be at or near freezing. Depends on how warm you want to be. We bring our 0*s that late in the fall.

Really starting to cool off now. Some light snow in the high country. I live at about 6,200 ft. altitude, and less than two miles from the CT trailhead at Waterton Canyon, and we are definitely moving rapidly into fall. It is imperative to be prepared for cold weather in the high country, especially >10K feet. Won’t be too many more days now before the lows are in the teens, and the white stuff begins to fly. Strongly recommend a zero degree bag, and plenty of warm clothes.

My husband and I just finished a 53 mile section hike from North Pass (CO 114) to Spring Creek Pass (CO 149). We had rain, hail, snow, and fierce winds on Saturday night just below Snow Mesa. I am not sure how cold it was, but we left our little towel outside and it was frozen stiff in the morning. We scraped a thick ice/snow mix off the tent and our packs.
