Planning a section hike May-June from Front Royal into PA (not sure how far). Suggestions for best re-supply points/lodging or general accommodations would be welcome. Thanks. Shady

You’ve got lots of options. The AT isn’t very remote through these parts, so you’re generally paralleling civilization a lot. First logical stop is Harpers Ferry. I’d probably send a maildrop to the ATC office (which is open 7 days a week). There is a good outfitter here and a couple restaurants and motels, but not much in the way of a grocery store).
I’ve heard there is a hostel in Maryland that is new and takes maildrops, but I don’t know much about it. Think it’s called the Free State Hostel.
The next “real” town is Boiling Springs and Duncannon, just up the trail.
There are lots of little stops (markets/restaurants) in this section, some of which I didn;t stop at. There is a good pizza joint about a 1/3 mile off the trail in So. Penn.
I’d recommend getting one of the 3 guidebooks that covers the AT, as there are lots more detailed options
