Maybe you could be more specific. So. PA, Central PA, or, No. PA. Also, “good hike”, can mean different things. R you looking for a phsical challenge? Perhaps you would prefer an easy hike with maybe one great mountain view. Maybe you would like a hike with a great camp site at the end of the day. Also, it might help if you tell us your experience level. None, a little, etc.

Hi Laura. You might want to consider the 29 miles from Port Clinton north to where rt. 309 crosses Blue mt. Some good views, several water sources, and a couple of shelters along the way, plus you could leave a car at either end. Let me know what you decide! Take care and happy hiking.

I did Boiling Springs to Duncannon one weekend last year-- we were supposed to go through Duncannon to Peter’s Mountain Shelter, but the rain held us up on Cove Mt. on Day 2-- you could definitely do Boiling Springs to Duncannon in 2 days if you get to the Blue Mt. shelter the first night and head straight to town the next day. The hike was neat-- through farmland, past the ATC’s Scott Farm, into the mountains, and into town complete with beers at the Doyle hotel and a fun look at the thru-hiker album there. I went with my husband and his sister and her boyfriend. We had a great time.
