Has anyone experience with the packa? It seems like a good idea. Instead of rain jacket and pack cover this is 1 piece weighing 12 ounces. Any information would be appreciated. Does it really work and worth the price etc.. Any problems with it? Seriously considering buying one but have never really even seen one yet. Help!

I used the Packa on my 2011 hike and it worked great in all weather even snow. It takes a small amount of time to get use to so give a trial run before you leave for the trail. It keeps your pack out of the elements and real dry. The Packa wears like a jacket and when the rain stops you can unzip, come out of the jacket and let the Packa become a pack cover without having to stop and take your pack off. I really liked the fit and design basically once you put it on in the morning you are good to go for the rest of the day..enjoy your journey. swamp dawg
