Hey all,
I’m thru-hiking the Tahoe Rim trail starting Aug 14 or Aug 21. I’m driving from Seattle and looking for a place to park for 2 weeks. There is info in this forum regarding casino parking but that sounds a little iffy to me. Also, upper Echo Lake has been suggested but is that safe? Here in WA we’ve had literally hundreds of trail head break ins this year(not that there will be anything valuable in my truck, but it’s a pain to fix the broken windows and drive homw with glass on the seats). Anyone near the trail have any parking info? Maybe a hotel that will allow it if you stay a night or pay a small fee?
