what are the best places to park for a section hike near erwin?..i checked uncle johnny’s web site and it says “car parking”…does anyone know for how long you can park there and what the cost is?

Uncle Johnny’s is pretty lax, easy to get along with. Uncle Johnny’s is the best place to park for a section.

i parked there for a week last year. Just need to use him for a shuttle or a nights stay. that’s only fair… parking is limited… only 5-6 spaces
it does feel very safe there…

If you stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Erwin, you are allowed to park your car there for as long as you want; no charge.
